And what do you think policies that hinder more production will result in?
What policies hinder Canada from exporting oil globally?

Oil leases you could maybe argue, but the main reason for that was companies like BP and all the issues in the Gulf and the issues we already have off our coasts with oil extraction. So you'd trash your own back yard to save some on gas now?

Our refineries are not refining oil into gas fast enough. What would more raw supply do for us?

Lol, your whole argument has been full of contradictions. "It's all because of shortages but yet somehow policies that contribute to shortages aren't to blame."

Shortages of refined petroleum. Not raw oil.

I can break it down for you. We have oil. Oil get turned into gas at special place. Special place reduce how much oil they can turn into gas over the past 2 years. Now we need more gas, not oil. We not make gas fast enough, price go up. Having more oil not help make gas faster.

If we had more oil that we could export globally, would that not help the global shortage? How is it that you argue global shortages are bad, but us having more supply is also somehow bad?

So why is the whole world suffering from rising gas prices while oil companies again record huge profits?

Your pointing a finger at the wrong shortage. Oil isn't the problem. Refined petroleum is. Would Keystone have carried refined gasoline, or raw crude?

Does having more raw material help when the shortage is of the completed product? The current issues isn't raw oil in the US or Globally. It's that globally refineries turned down what they made during the covid issue and now we globally are returning to normal consumption.
