IMHO is not a VW code. It is an abbreviation that means “in my humble opinion”.

They know that they have messed up big time. They also seem to believe that they can fix it. We will see about that. From a software professional‘s perspective, it’s going to be interesting to follow.

I agree with both your points. And on top of that is VW’s appalling lack of customer support - at least in Denmark. I have ordered an electric car to replace my Golf, and I didn’t even consider a VW.

My car is on 1810 (updated from 16xx in January). It has the 91CU recall when I look up my vin. I am confused. Does that mean it will be updated OTA, or does it have to be updated at the workshop?

I frequently experience this with CarPlay. My workaround is to switch to radio (sound comes on) and then back to CarPlay (sound stays on).
