Knowing the content of this forum (and others) and that no GTi or R models seem to be available yet, has anybody looked into or even went ahead and bought a 2024 MK 8.5 or is it too soon to ask that question!

I have my Mk8 (Style) diesel exactly three years this month, the only period I didn't have software / failing parts issues was following the 1896 software update - about six months, further software updates appear to have caused more problems. Current position - waiting two months for steering...

My keyless entry as set (MK8 Style) - all doors unlock on approach. Lock the car either by fob or touching the sensor on the door handle.

I usually set up everything before driving off, have a stylus at hand - avoids finger prints! Use voice commands also, but being right handed driving on the left doesn't help 😔
