There's king crab, and there's king crab. The BJ's/Costco low end stuff is about $50/lb., whereas the good stuff is around $75/lb. Lobster here is between $10-$15/lb. When you factor in the waste the good stuff is 2x-3x more than lobster. I haven't been able to justify it.

Very true. Our local Greek restaurant stopped selling tuna salad grinders because the cost of the canned tuna went way, way up. Greek restaurants make the best chunk white tuna salad. None of that brown stuff.
