91BU recall.

Hi everybody, got my car booked in next month for the 91BU software update. Has anyone had it done yet ? Does it cure the problem with the phone not connecting? Is it a worthwhile update?

Hasn't really solved anything on the phone side of things but at least now I have the white globe so far...
Also just to update that there are 2 service recalls for software updates: 1 for the Golf 8’s built before week 48 2020 with the code 91BU and for the cars built after week 48 the code is 91CM.
Thats because they changed the OCU unit in the Golf 8 built after week 48 from 5WA035284A to 5WA035284C and the software have different versions 65, 67, 75 for the A units and 135, 140 for the C units.
Also another change of the OCU unit started from 26/07/21 with 5WA035285A...

Thanks for the info, shame it doesn't fix the phone issue. Do you know if there is anything coming to fix that, as that is the only problem I have with my car.
