AMBIENT LIGHTING

Hello, good evening, I’ve just got my Golf Style and the only thing that is annoying me is the ambient lighting in the Phone Docking Station... it doesn’t seem to be working...

I’ve looked and there is definitely 2 LED bulbs. All other lighting works great. I’ve searched all through the setting and even called VW and they don’t know if it’s meant to work.

I’ve seen pictures / videos on the internet where it lights up in some, and not in others...

Any idea?

Hi, my Style phone compartment (the area where the wireless charging pad is) does light up at night so you can see the area where the phone charges. It also changes colour with whatever colour the rest of the car is set to.

I'm not sure why some would and wouldn't do this - I would have thought if you have the bulbs there should be no problems there.

In my case, I choose green ambient lightning, auxiliary lights (phone compartment, drink compartment, doors below) turn to light blue. I chose blue ambient lightning, auxiliary lights turn to white. Understand, if you can...

Mine has the same problem.. I took a photo of the the part that supposed to have a led light..
