Auto-close windows and sunroof

Hey all,

I am curious to know if it’s in the system to code my windows and sunroof to auto-close when the engine is shut off?
This feature is available on my MK5 Jetta highline but so far I haven’t seen it shown on any other forums. Thanks in advance ️

not sure about closing when the ignition is turned off, but look into OBD11.. You can code it to close the windows with a press of the key fob.

I am already aware of this and it comes standard in factory across multiple car brands

I don’t think that’s a feature you will find or be able to code.

You mean if the rain sensor detects rain, it will auto close the windows and sunroof? It can be done but only for certain model years. I forgot which ones but certainly not the latter model years. Check OBD11 forums.

This is performed by the key remote, yes? I want it performed automatically after engine shut off.

Yes. Remote fob opening/closing is easily done. What you want I don’t think you’ll find. My sense based on safety concerns.
