Found out that if you press this button, the Lane Assist and Cruise Control are displayed on the electronic dash. You can scroll between them by using the up and down button on the steering wheel. You can also disable or enable the 2 assist systems by pressing the OK control button on the steering wheel. This saves you from having to go into the menu of the Multi Function Display to disable the Lane Assist which I personal find rather annoying as the default is on ever time you start the engine.

The button is only there if you have travel assist fitted. Life versions you have to press buttons on wheel to do similar.

It‘s there to turn off and on the Lane Assist. It defaults to being on all the time. If you don’t turn it off at each start up the steering wheel will suddenly move in your hands if you get close to a white line or verge. Bloody annoying!
