General Off Topic Thread because another thread was fun for a while has lost it's charm and we need a thread to chat/BS in some basic rules:
1. No Politics; non-Covid related current events are ok. This includes topics that are clearly divided by political lines
1a. Do not feed the trolls.
2. Avoid Insults (although poking fun as friends is allowed).
3. Rules may be added in the future by OP. Announcement of rules must be made and original post to be updated.
4. The Lloyd Rule (mandatory emoji use when not being serious) will be enforced, with ridicule as penalty.
5. Multiquoting is discouraged.

7. Collusion with the French for any reason is a bannable offense.
8. If you mention the thread title, copypasta for posterity.

11. If we veer off the road and violate rule 1 (and subrules) then it is the responsibility of all to call it out and steer things back to the brighter side.
