What Would Glenn Danzig Do
Right, I already took that out, but I'm not feeling confident about how the motor is resting on the block of wood on the jack. The contact area isn't parallel and it seems a bit sketchy. I left motor mount in, but hoisted with the wood and jack about a half inch so that with it holding the load it can compress the wood overnight. I'm sure it's fine, but I would really prefer not dropping the motor. Gotta do some crazy maneuvering to get the dumbass engine mount bracket off.
That bolt is a bitch with a normal triple square and ratchet, not enough room. Get a stubby triple square bit like this that you can slip a ratcheting box wrench on and it comes out easy.

Anybody here in San Antonio? I'm flying down mid Dec to pick out a new dog (or two), then driving back in late January to pick him/her up.

Cool - I'm not sure exactly when I'm going down - depends on the availability of the dogs, but probably fly down for a couple of days next month, see if we like any of the furballs and then the vet clearances and other paperwork takes about a month to six weeks. Then we get to drive down and pick the dog(s) up.

I'll keep you posted.
