Keep trying until your fingers go numb and eventually you will get lucky. I hope you got it in.

Old post but for future folks

Put one end of clip in place, center the middle clip in center of groove on caliper.
While holding the other end of clip with hand take a flat blade screwdriver and pry the end of the clip down and then with hand push into place.
Pretty easy to do. Just did mine.
