Gear indicator light missing after clutch replacement

Hey all! New to golf mk6 forums but long time lurker. I have a ‘13 GTI COBB stage 1+ and as we all know OEM clutch is garbage. Well after an altercation with a Charger a few months back, I lost my gear indicator on the MFD. Assuming it was clutch slippage (which was obvious in high gear at WOT) I ended up getting a replacement clutch. Going with ECS stage 2. Not a bad clutch IMO, chatter is only noticeable during acceleration. Anyway, my gear indicator still has not come back. Should I be worried and how can I bring it back if possible.

Solved my own issue. In vagcom the car was giving the error no communication with TCM. (Not the first time I’ve seen this) but after clearing a few times it went away and my gear indicator came back.
