Yeah im really a fan of the rear end eapecially with the quad tips with the golf R estate rear valence. The interior is not far off from my mk7 gti except the seats leave a lot to be desired in the GSW but hey to each his own???

Cool car. I can really get down with the idea of a 4-motion but maaannn... i can't get over the ass end look and the interior

You ought to check out our factory spec interiors available for the GSW….Mines very similar to the "R"..

Got this today from sportshifters.com, feels good in the hand and makes the shifting more notchy, and sits lower on the shift lever than the last 2 ive tried???

Quick 6 speed manual review with the new sportshifter knob 5 day update: this knob with the APR short shift kit, 42 draft design bushings and the super pin mod has completely transformed this 6 speed. The sportshifter knob made it where the boot is properly situated and makes a difference on how it is grasped thus really changing how shifting is done. This combo is really really good??

Did you do the Dieselgeek Delrin shaft bushes...the ones for the reverse spring under the gearstick knob/boot...??

No to be honest i didn't know about them until i saw you talking about them, but if it requires tearing the center console out again i will leave that piece alone?

Just remove the gearstick knob & gaiter... that's all....

Ok just bought them will report back when installed, if what i have now can be improved it will be really sublime ???

They fit Mk7 & Mk7.5.....& they do make a slight difference...the OEM ones are basically "gummy bear" consistency....& the Delrin ones will remain stiff over time.....

I found my heavier shift knob would keep compressing the stock bushings but with the DG ones the knob doesn't slop down.

EI Motorsport suede red stiching boot with the plastic ring for easy install, fits perfect???

Installed the delrin dieselgeek bushings while i was in there??? stock ones (clear ones)looked good but definitely softer.
