Just an update: i installed the led that illuminates under the cover area just like the GT
There was coding involved in the 09 central electric control unit….

What parts did you use and what coding?

The Led Part is 5H0947145C and Connector is 8K0973754. You will need cabling.
For coding in 09:
Interior_light_router_config: Output_lin9_light_function_slave_7: from 0 to 12
Interior_light_lin_slaves_config: Lin9_slave_7: from not installed to installed.

Great another job for mine when it arrives. Need to work out what’s required for the rear footwell lights.

Not yet but I’m getting a style model which comes with front footwell lights.

I also got the cover from the shop DAP link above. Its the correct one.

I removed the USB trim and used double-sided tape to stick the cover in place securely.

I hope it stays inplace.

Hi Massimo, I connect the wires to the numbers as in the picture below. Is it ok?

I wonder if the cover makes the wireless charger work . I find it doesn't have enough oomph to keep up with Android Auto. Less charge at the end of the run than at the start of the journey.
I plug my phone into the cigarette outlet via a USB adaptor - plenty power there.

Yes correct.
Pin 1: KL30 (Red/Green Cable) goes to pin 70 of the BCM Plug 73B
Pin 2: Lin (Purple/Green Cable) goes to pin 25 of the BCM Plug 73B
Pin 4: Gnd (Brown cable) goes to earth point 812.

I got few questions for you
1- did you had to use new wires to wired the plug or did you reused wired in place but switching them into the new connector?
2- does the plug is comming with crimps?
3- if you didnt reused wired you pluged two wires in the same spot?
4- where did you find the srews that hold the cover? autoparts store or somewhere elese and are they M3 screws?
5- if the plug dont come with crimps wich one do I need?

Update: ordered the part from LLLParts and received the correct one...thank God
Use a hardened plastic tool remover like in the photo.
So remove the Usb trim(1) and then the Dsg trim (2) on the right and then the one on the left(3) (they are clipped in) and mount the cover with 3x3.5mm 16-17mm length screws ( I used screws used for the plug outlets )] ( You need to take extra care with the left side trim on removal and installing it.. don't force anything and study it well when reinstalling it as not to break the clip inserts)
Better solution would be to remove the whole center consolle which makes it a lot easier to work...
So now I have a GT consolle with the cover and dsg gear stick with heartbeat effect and red light..

I am trying to remove the trim (3), which tools do I need, is there anywhere I can find where the clips are so I don't mess it up while removing part 1,2 and 3 of your picture? Thank you.
