Dudes that have sold guns before, how did you go about finding a buyer?? I have a sig p229 sas I want to sell, bought it for around $700 back in ~2005. Never liked it and it's just been sitting in my safe, there's nothing wrong with it and it's been reliable every time I've shot it, just heavier and bigger than my normal preference. I brought it to my local shop to try and sell it and they lowballed me hard and offered $50 of in-store credit. I'd rather it sit in my safe unfired till I die than sell it for $50. Any advice?
Truth be told, it’s not a real H&K, it’s a clone made by MKE in Turkey on H&K machines and tooling.i regret not picking up a SP89 back in the 90s
how like that binary trigger? Been thinking of snagging oneHere is the scorpion all dressed out. HBIndustries folding brace, N2O Nitro 9mm can, Franklin Armory bianary trigger, Sig Romeo optics, magpul 50 round drum, Amazon blue laser (for $50 its been a nice one, holds 0 even after 1k rounds). I do want an H&K though. Just not in the cards right now. View attachment 312918
That’s not bad at 60yds though…I’d have expected a larger gap honestly. But yeah, the practicality part is what’s keeping me from dropping coin on it, considering PSA has hella good Black Friday deals goingI love mag dumping with it, but practicality is low. Smallest group i could do at 60 yards was a 2 inch double tap.
So I ended up selling my SIG p229. The plan was to get a Springfield hellcat pro comp, but it's only available in black right now and black pistols are not my favorite. Springfield said to check back in 6 months and they'll likely be available in FDE which is what I want. But 6 months ehhhhhh I'm impatient.
So do I...
Thoughts?
- Suck it up and get the black pro comp
- Get the hellcat pro non comped version in FDE
- Wait the 6 months
- Or get something different, also wanting a HK Vp9sk
I already know I'm not waiting lol. I usually buy a new gun every ~6 months. Cerakote won't get me what I want since only the slide can be done, hellcats are polymer frameI wouldn’t wait that long either. Why don’t you get what you want and then ceracoat the parts you want?
