Hide dash cam wire on Golf MK8 without to removing airbag pillar cover?

What is the best and easiest way of hiding the dash cam power cable on a Golf MK8 without having to remove the airbag pillar cover or tuck it across, into the pillar seam as this compromise the safety of the airbag?

From what I gathered, the information available on YouTube & online is that the Golf Mk8 pillar cover is tricky to remove, requiring tools plus the possibility of damaging it as my car is on a lease.

Apart from just plugging the dash cam power cable straight into the cigarette lighter socket (untidy cable dangling, use some self adhesive cable clips to tidy it up) is there anyway other way bypassing the airbag pillar cover altogether when hiding the power cable?

What airbags do you think will be compromised?
I was of the understanding that my Golf 8 doesn't have airbags in the window pillars.

YouTube videos showing dash cam installation have warnings that most modern car have pillar airbags so you have to be very careful when trying to hide/tuck away the dash cam power cables behind the pillar trim cover as this interfere with the function of the airbag (very dangerous)

On this YouTube clip, How to remove the A-Pillar from a 2022 VW Golf:

The video shows how to remove the pillar trim cover on a Volkswagen Golf MK8 & once the pillar trim cover has been removed, it looks like there’s an airbag inside?

I suspect the airbag are the ends of the side curtain airbags.
If you push the wire between the glass and the trim there's no need to remove the plastic trim as shown in the video.

You cannot push the wire between the glass and the trim as it’s solid with no movement or pliable at all.

You have to push the wire across the pillar seam & down between the trim & door seal as it’s pliable.

I presume the ends of the side curtain airbags shouldn’t be obstructed in any way as it’s part of the mechanism when activated?
