You will need to go to the dealer because apart from the software update itself a software configuration is needed too. Have you checked to see if you have any recalls on the car?

No I think not I bought it two days ago from VW handler in Germany...I live in Germany, there is one dealer near by I'll just pop by and ask them...

Will manually updating my firmware previously screw up any sort OTA updates? I have not had anything yet on my 2021 Life...or will the Life get missed as it is entry level?

I updated mine to 1969 at last February, after that there have been 5 small updates via OTA.
I think we just have to wait.

There will be no large updates at all if you set your privacy settings max, and no registered main user

I got the notification too! The size of this update is around 2GB!

I started the update but it is going too slow, so I don't know the results yet!

If someone realizes something new, please share!

It is so small, because 1941 and 1961 was more than 10GB
