Losing data connection

I have a similar problem in my new Golf eHybrid. The globe has been greyed out but is now white again and I can connect via the iPhone app. However, when trying Alexa, she reports that there is no Internet connection. I have tried via the one month trial with CubicTelecom as well as WiFi. I did get it to work once but never again. I also cannot get the Internet Radio to work which I assume is because of the same problem. Has anyone had this particular sub-set of the connection problems?

Is your trial with Cubic still active?
You need an internet connection for Alexa and Internet Radio to work. This can be with Cubic or connecting the wifi of the infotainment to a wifi signal or the hotspot from your mobile phone.

Yes my trial with Cubic should still be active. I have tried with WiFi via my phone as well.
