MK8 Golf R stock Wheels

Pretty straight Forrward, why or how in Gods name did VW make such an Ugly looking wheel. It looks like someone let their 3 year old child draw a design and they were like heck let’s see if the higher ups will let it pass...


I mean they are hideous, I almost feel like gouging my own eyes out or waterboarding my face with hydrochloric acid..

Almost as ugly as the new “R” logo. I will be de badging either the R or GTI whichever I end up getting.

I would rather have Steelies, but in all seriousness I hope they have some choices, I like the Pretoria’s from the MK7.5.

I realize most enthusiasts will be going after market anyways, but I usually go Aftermarket for summers and then use the stock wheels for my winter tire setup.

Its pretty similar to Octavia vRS 245 wheels. I wish better ones to come in later MYs.

That wheel looks way too busy to me, and it's probably heavy also.

I do like the MK8 R, the front end of the GTI is not pleasing.
The R looks much better, may have to get one when they
arrive in North America.
