Hey guys and gals,
tldr; at bottom
What happened today causing the CEL: So I was accelerating pushing the gas going up a steep hill, 2nd gear and once I hit 4k rpm, it all of a sudden acted as if I hit the brakes, when I didn't at all touch brakes nor had the ebrake on. Now whenever acceleratng and it hits 3k rpm (except in first gear) it shudders, acting as if I hit the brakes, loses power and slows down until I let off the gas and let rpm's fall. Repeats whenever accelerating up until 3k rpm. Also, since this happened, the car barely starts, stuttering for a few seconds before barely starting. I'll link a youtube video if you want to see how it starts:

Also, idk if this matters at all, but on Friday I noticed I lost a silicone tag thing about the size and shape of a quarter under the passenger seat, that looks like it creeped into a hole under the seat to fall in between the carpet and the floorboard. Idk if this would have anything to do with this CEL,thought I might mention it. I'll post a picture of this floorboard/carpet hole under the passenger seat.
I'm so worried/frustrated. I just put in a new clutch in this car, after buying it just 2 months ago, the brakes and rotors both front needed replacement after 2 weeks, clutch went out after 2 months, now this... The car only had 30k mi!! 2017 GTI sport. Previous owner had a Carbon fiber intake, stg 2, borla exhaust. I had him sell it to me with a stock exhaust and stg 1 HT to pass smog in order to sell. Ofcourse he listed the car as "mechanically perfect" in cars.com... He damn well knew what was up. What I now find weird, is he really wanted me to shift gears at 3k rpm on the test drive. Now it's making sense...I'm so worried, the clutch just screwed me financially. I can't afford a big repair rn... I'm 29, and I've just had 4 hip surgeries and a back surgery the past few years that has me hurting financially, I just can't afford a big repair. I barely got the clutch done thanks to affirm financing... I'm a grown man that rarely cries, but holy shi** I damn near did today...
I'm taking it to my local VW specialist mechanic that has good rates asap. If anyone has any input as to possibilities are what to look for/mention to the mechanic I'd greatly appreciate it.
TLDR;
Accelarting up a steep hilll fast in 2nd gear, car shuddered and acted as if I hit the breaks when I clearly didn't. Now car stutters/breaks on its own/loses power significantly once it hits 3k rpm, and car barely starts now. CEL on.
