The first few months after passing your test are the most important. Just remember, six points in the first two years and you have to retake your test.

Well done, I remember passing my test back in the UK about 17 years ago and what a difference it made for me. My first car was a 2cv which was really fast as long as you didn't slow down:wink: . You are one lucky guy to have a GTI having just passed your test, just don't put it in a hedge, I still managed to do this in the 2cv within 6 months wit hthe GTI factor I would have do the same in about 2 hrs:thumbup:

Was listening to a driving expert on the radio last week and she made an interesting point.

The human brain does not fully develop the abilities to make rational and safe decisions until its 25 hence why the Insurers load the premiums of under 25's.
