Rear Passenger Lights flashing like a beacon for no reason....

I have a Golf 8 1.5/150 Style. I live in Greece. From day one (March of 2020) i noticed that from time to time (not always) the touch lights in the rear passenger seats are flashing in a very slow manner, periodically. I can only stop this if i press the front light switch in the panel above my head...Is there a specific reason that this is happening?

There is a fix for warranty, update or replace lights.

So, by that I assume that this is a well known problem and there are specific steps to be taken by my local official vw service point staff in order to cure it?

Yes, they have to repair it.
