Retrofitting Lane assist camera without changing windshield?

OK after so many months I finally made a successful calibration.
The High Beam Assist is working fine.
The lane assist is not..
I get lane assist currently unavailable

My camera is mounted with 3d printed case. Not separated

Oh, forgot that.

Post the offset of your dynamic calibration, in OBDeleven its under Live Data

You can find it on ODIS, in the OBD Mode.

Im not really good with VCDS

Hi Gc9n, can you share the details on your 3d printed windshield mount with the camera assembly part number used ?

Pls note, my windshield is a non camera windshield with Rain Sensor, hope it works for my application.

Before you guys do that, you should find a way of fine tuning the position of the camera.

The other interest thing to mention is that my A5 camera (i bought her from KUFATEK) when i enter the long coding the first tab contains the car model , the camera is coded with the VW PASSAT 2018 ,

I change the Coding for the first 8 digits that corresponds to skoda karoq ,
and the error message , appeard

Intermittent - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear



i thing the problem is on module 44

If your question is does the BCM affect the lane assist then the answer is no. The only thing the BCM Has to do with the camera is the light assist as the BCM controls the headlights.

You need to tell module 44 that lane assist is installed, that module controls the steering.
