You do realize most of the manual transmissions on the market utilize a single mass fly.

You have to have the clutch pressure plate and fly to go with it though.

oh yes I'm very aware, Probably done 500 clutch jobs over the years.

What worries me about the dual mass is if it's used to reduce chatter and gear noise will removing it cause damage down the road?
