Software Issues affecting SOS emergency calling

I gave up after 5 months and demanded all my money back. I have now bought a Peugeot, and whilst it's not as nice to drive as the Golf, I've not seen a single warning light!

Omg, every fault you described is what I have on a nearly new Golf 8 I picked up last week!!

reading across many forums regarding the golf 8 software hell, I don’t see any postings in 2022 - presumably all was largely fixed by then??
