On web Im find company in Germany who make different turbos and see that they make also IS38 Hybrids for good price.

They made for Golf R next turbos:
TTH-06K-480
TTH-06K-540
TTH-06K-600

Their TTH600 installed on Golf 7R has done 100-200kmh in 6.13 sec

Aynone know about this turbos? Are they good? Im interested for TTH-480 but can't find info about it only for 540 and 600 ...

Thanks for all info...

There are a few European members running these turbos, but they're cost prohibitive for US and Canada members.

We can buy full frame ball bearing turbos for cheaper than those hybrids.

Yes Im talking about TTH and not about TTE(They are known company)...
Their prices from ebay:

TTH-06K-480 Turbo Exchange 1099EUR New unit 2499EUR
TTH-06K-540 Turbo Exchange 1899EUR New unit 3149EUR
TTH-06K-600 Turbo Exchange 1999EUR New unit 3199EUR

Im interested for TTH480 to exchange my turbo because is cheapest option which Im find on internet to get me in to 450-480HP range...
But Im not sure if they are realy good for that power...

What are the air flows for each turbo? Once you find that out in lb/min add a 0 and thats an approximation of what the turbo is capable at crank. Then subtract 15-20% from that to get whp it is capable of.

I like your name. ;)

Also, i would ask the tuner who will be tuning your car.

You'll never get compressor map data on hybrids like this. That's one of the limitations with MK7 turbo selection.

TTH or TTE?

Looking at the information TTH has on their products they do not appear to be that costly. There are a few options, with only the most expensive being $3,000.

You're right, I'm thinking of TTE.

So nothing usefull about TTH? All I can find on forums is about some BMW, Porsche and nothing about VAG ... Except some results from TTH-06K-540 on german tuners facebook pages which produce 530ps 600nm on stock engine internals(If Im translate right with 1,9bar constant pressure) and 545ps 645nm on forged ...

Im risk and decide to try TTH-06K-540. Im do exchange option with deposit for old turbo which has been returned to me when Im replace turbo and send my working oem is38 turbo to them...

Littco L500 will cost me £1850 + 22% VAT = £2257 = cca. 2700USD + Shipping - And if Im right I will get £350 cca. 420USD back when I return my turbo.

TTE535 is exchange option 1870EUR + 22% VAT = 2280EUR = cca.2480USD + Shipping

Im pay for TTH-06K-540 1699EUR(VAT Included) + 30EUR DHL shipping = 1729EUR = cca. 1880USD Im also need pay 600EUR(cca. 650USD) deposit which has been returned to me when Im return my turbo.

This option has been for me a lot of cheaper than competitors... It came with turbo muffler delete from HG Motorsport(bigger outlet) and bigger inlet pipe also from HG Motorsport.

This is dyno from my car with 100RON fuel:

Car made 532HP@6545rpm and 582,1Nm@6158rpm at 1.9bar constant boost(I use stock 3Bar MAP sensor).
My current mods:
- HJS Downpipe with sport cat
- JE Design Exhaust with valves
- HG-Motorsport HFSeries Turbo Inlet Pipe
- HG-Motorsport HFSeries Turbo Outlet with turbo muffler delete
- Intake silicone hose
- Aluminum & Silicone boost pipes
- BMC Panel Air Filter & Modified OEM intake box
- VIS Motorsport HPFP
- Majesty Intercooler 16,4 Liter
- TTH-540 IS38 Hybrid Turbo
- NGK R7438-9 Spark Plugs

Yes strange...

I have dyno from one month ago with different results. After that I change all injectors(One is fail) and spark plugs from stock ones to NGK also outside temperature is lower for cca. 4°C. Right now is:

3500rpm 250HP 500Nm

4500rpm 350HP 550Nm
5500rpm 430HP 550Nm
6500rpm 530HP 575Nm

Same software 1 month ago made 511HP@6757rpm and 578Nm@4420rpm

3500rpm 270HP 540Nm

4500rpm 370HP 570Nm
5500rpm 430HP 550Nm
6500rpm 505HP 550Nm

Dyno:

They first time remap with this turbo so they made a few dyno runs to be exactly print plot from 18.7.2019 is dyno run 18th(On my car) then they try to get more and no mater what they do car star pulling ignition back and produce less power... Now after injector failure and new spark plugs they run it again, made few runs on dyno to see if car run ok or are there some issues and run 35 is which has been done 5.9.2019.
By feeling car pull a lot of stronger as before. Probably because there is increase in poer and torque in useable rpm range(5000rpm+) because when accelerate and car shift gear they fall to 5000rpm and increase from there...

But I have car with fixed injectors for 2 days and here is heavy rain so I cant proper test it... Will see what will time show, but for me has this be cheapest option to reach 500HP which has been my goal...
With forged engines that turbo on Golf made 545PS and 645NM on some other dyno in germany...

P.S. I don't sell this turbos and don't have any profit from this posts...
