Thanks for the link, Carlos. Harry Catchpole -- Is that great name for a Brit, or what? -- always has great insight and comments. And, FWIW, I agree with his statements (at 1:15) that the lower front fascia on the Clubsport is, hands down, the best looking of the series (Golf, GTI and R). It just looks right, particularly on the white car with those 19" alloy wheels.
I keep asking myself what it would take to persuade VoA to import this model too? It couldn't be any more expensive to manufacture and homologate for emissions; same motor as the R, and the DOT components are identical. Why not? The Clubsport is -- and certainly would be here -- the true "gearhead" model. So it's $4k more? Worth every $.
