It’s always nice to know that your choice of car is highly rated by the motoring press or surveys. In this February’s edition of ‘Which? Car Guide‘ the Golf GTE was rated top new medium sized car saying -
“The latest Golf is most impressive in plug-in hybrid GTE model. Serving up hot-hatch performance with impressive fuel economy, it’s a persuasive - if pricey - option. It comes with decent levels of standard equipment, including digital driver’s display. Despite a middling three-star brand reliability score and a not particularly intuitive infotainment system, it’s a deserved Best Buy.”
Additionally as a used car the GTE had the highest score of medium sized cars.
