tl;dr: 3 GTIs/R with the same intermittent failure of all the parking sensors, ACC and rear cross traffic systems would fail intermittently. First was repurchased as a lemon. Seems to be a more widespread issue.
I bought a GTI Autobahn in January. At 1,600 miles, it started having the same recurring, but intermittent issue: all of the parking/ACC/rear cross traffic sensors would fail simultaneously, throwing up warnings on the dash. After many trips to the dealer and many days in the shop, VW declared the car a lemon and repurchased it.
I bought an identical GTI Autobahn in April. Now, at 2,000 miles, it is having exactly the same issue. Moreover, the dealer currently has an R in the shop also showing exactly the same issue. Three brand new cars, all with the same issue seems like a developing pattern. Anyone else seeing this?
