my last car had 6000K's and were much bluer than the 4300k of the GTI, although I love the output :)

Wannabe what? You can see the difference between the wannabe HIDs (Blue Halogen) and real HIDs.
-The 8000K's get noticed more. You can definitely see them coming and look more luxurious than anything. Anyway, I've seen a higher light output with 10000K than 8000K. Also, the 4300K and 6000K look similar to me when I drive. The 6000K look more purple than anything, not blue. I'll be selling my 6000K bulbs soon for 8000K. They just look sexy on the car.
