Take your time and get use to her first, take it steady let every thing break in its not only engine but transmission brakes tyres all need to break in over a fair distance but more importantly you need to adapt to the car

Yep your right, here are the list prices in the UK.

GTI 2.0T 200PS 3dr F £20,360
GTI 2.0T 200PS 5dr F £20,860
GTI 2.0T 200PS DSG 3dr F £21,690
GTI 2.0T 200PS DSG 5dr F £22,190

I had lots of extra and the grand total was £25,035!!!!!!

No the 6 CD is not included in the basic in the UK:frown:

We get completely screwed in the UK with our car prices:rolleyes:

We folks today is the day, I'm awaiting a call from the dealer...... depending on what time he calls I probably won't come back to work so that means no pictures or updates until I get back from my Easter break on Tuesday!

Got my BP fuel card through this morning so I can treat it to a tank of that expensive stuff...... and yes I know nice and steady for a while:wink:

someone told the waiting is the best bit - no way, now that you guys are getting new wheels I'm going mad - feel like a kid on christmas eve !
Anyone know if Wolfsburg shuts down at Easter if so guess I've an extra week to wait !

Yep,

America as with everything get things cheap were everyone else has to pay near twice as much :wink:

It's why i import alot of components and stuff for our electronics company from our US suppliers.

Agreed, I import car parts for some of my 'older' volkswagens! In fact the black Karmann came from California - see my garage:thumbup:

Been to the dealers today and seen her..

Stunning - thats all I can say - even though she still had her protective wax on..

Its going to be a long time until Tuesday lunchtime when I pick her up...
