Yea $200 isn't bad at all. You could run them on stock shocks, but it'll shorten the life of the shocks (hard to say by exactly how much, but it wouldn't be by like 50% or anything).

I wouldn't run stock struts with Eibach sport lines. They are a straight rate spring and drop the car more than most. At least they did back in the day and I went through Tokico Illuminas about every 30,000 miles.
