Exactly, the amount of people that don't realize how many freedoms they actually have, and are so fucking reactionary to any mention of changes or common sense rules, is nothing short of shocking.

I have no problem with the people maintaining arms, hell I have a couple in my collection. That said, I feel that people should be well trained, proficient, and background checks completed before we hand over arms to Joe and Sally Citizen. I wouldn't mind seeing the following:

1. DIY "80%" receiver kits going away
2. an arm brace on a 7" AR "pistol" is nothing more than a non-regulated SBR, get rid of this dumb ass ATF ruling
3. binary triggers... if it acts like a duck and sounds like a duck, it's an unregulated machine gun
4. Biden's policy of buy back or stamping of "assault weapons" but only if the definition removes them from the "pistol, rifle, shotgun" nomenclature they are currently governed under. Even if you reduce the price of that stamp, maybe $100, or something akin to the AOW stamp. Use those funds to better the background check system and get guns out of the hands of people not legally allowed to hold them, and/or to support number 5.
5. enforce the damn laws on the books already, and drag the LEO that "refuse" to enforce said laws off to jail themselves.
6. require a permit to purchase, permit to carry, or FFL to purchase a firearm from a private party. I personally will not sell a firearm to anyone who won't present one. It's not required, but it tells me that at some point recently they've gone through a background check.

Congress didn't make any law abridging your freedoms under this Amendment, if you think they have... please let me know where.
