Don't turn off traction control and you'll generally be fine. What's amazing is that you can pass and be passed anywhere, without any signaling. It really is one of those autobahn-type deals that will sadly disappear at one point.

I was on the track for 4 laps and saw 2 crashes... its very common and just a part of the track.

These accidents happen hourly on the track... doubt they would all of a sudden.

I've only been to one other track other than Nurburgring, so my experience is limited, but Nurburgring is like a crash-hole compared to likely anything we have in North America -- the guardrails are really only like 2-5 feet from the track. Which makes it that much more amazing.
