No it's not covered under warranty and yes I'm getting it fixed the car is only 10 months old. the dealer is going to fix the pan first and fill the transmission and then see if it's has any other problems.
I though I had flash of death on my DSG when I brought it to the dealer he found out that something had hit the bottom of the transmission and it was leaking fluid.
