Battery disconnected now headlight won’t turn off !

This is a weird one, but today we had to disconnect the battery on my MK8 GTI and when we reconnected it, the passenger side headlight came on and stays on, even when the car is turned off.
I’ve had to disconnect the battery and leave the car parked up so it doesn’t drain.
We think it’s some kind of module issue after the car has reset.

Anyone had this and know the solution ?

There were plenty of other errors on the dash too. But they all went away after a little drive, all except the headlight warnings, eg, dipped beam error, turn signal error etc.

Have you tried connecting the battery again now that it has been disconnected for a while?

Update. Car is back at the dealer

Called roadside assistance and they couldn’t figure it out. Just hoping vw approved warranty is going to cover it
