The Options:
Two flavors each featuring a 3” inlet of the mid-pipe to accommodate further modification upstream without disruption, resonated mid pipe, and a stamped stainless merge in the rear for a smooth transition from single 3” to dual 2.5”.



Touring Edition:
Refined in and out. At the intersection of sophistication and aggression lies the Touring Edition Exhaust – a deep, constant full-bodied soundtrack, and a completely comfortable highway experience thanks to the 180 Technology® resonators in the rear.



AWE’s patented drone-killing 180 Technology® isolates very particular frequencies that cause discomfort in the cabin. 180 Technology® resonators feature zero packing material to prevent tone change over time, while also featuring a straight-through design for optimal flow. Their sole purpose is to destroy drone-prone frequencies while providing an uncongested exhaust note paired with straight-pipe performance.



Track Edition:
For those who like their volume like their speed the Track Edition omits AWE’s 180 Technology® resonators in exchange for raw stainless steel. It’s lighter and louder (read: more present on the highway).
This version is known to get rowdy, and may be too much for some. For that reason, this particular version cannot be returned due to sound preference. Prepare yourself.



Tailored Tips:
All tip options include the AWE logo and double-walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. Each tip outlet is adjustable to easily achieve perfect fitment within the valance, and the tips themselves are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.

Conversion Kits:

AWE makes it easy to convert existing Track Editions into Touring Editions, or vice versa, if you decide at a later date to turn your interior volume up or down. Kits include the rear Touring or Track Edition components only.

Dyno-verified gains of +4 hp and +1 lb-ft of torque at the wheels on an otherwise stock vehicle.



Nope, they’re not valved:
The Mk8 R was the perfect platform to ditch the confines of valving and go against the grain. 100% straight-through 100% of the time, and deep hearty exhaust notes at all times. They’re aggressive when you need it, well-mannered when you want it, and they respond well to sport mode no matter the edition you choose.



100% emission-friendly:
Touring and Track Editions do not interfere with any factory emissions equipment.

Made in PA, USA:
Engineered, designed, and manufactured in-house at AWE using US-sourced .065”-wall T304L stainless steel to achieve a tone deeper than everyone else.
