Trust me bro, I get lazy a f too when the garage is cold a f. Been nice and warm last few days, and it's always a good day to work when you're in a tshirt.
It's gonna snow on Tuesday... should be a time to hit up my local mountain to work on my park skills.

ive been debating a torpedo heater for forever. but then i get lazy enough that in the winter ill find a buddy with a nice warm shop and lift or pay someone to do basic maintenance rather than have to suffer through it in the cold. ive got plenty of other things to occupy my time haha.

i may as well have skipped winter tires this year. its snowed twice think ive driven in it once and it was just for funsies. and now i need a whole new set of wheels so that the austins remain dedicated winters, but thats gonna be hard to do because i'm poor now with a kid on the way

ps, remember that pretty decent raise i got last month? it will ALL be swallowed up by the family health insurance plan, and then some most likely.

I can do like 98% of my job remote but there's the weird cultural expectation of "if you can make it in you should be here" ... which doesn't consider the how-are-you-getting-home side of the equation.

man I've been stressing cash for like MONTHS to try and get something AWD for the winter that's cheap, gets decent fuel mileage, doesn't have expensive parts, and shouldn't need work for a while. All that and I've been pushing my luck for quite a while and hoping that the racecar will be suitable for cold weather daily duty and not leave me stranded, and I finally get something that should fit the criteria... and it's looking like we might get a tickle of snow tomorrow but otherwise nothing.

It's hard not to think that maybe I should've just purchased some winter tires

also fuck fedex, I'm now on delivery #2 that isn't going where it's supposed to and thankfully it's just a laptop battery but like what the FUCK if it was anything more pressing we'd have a big fucking problem on our hands and it's a bunch of not fun. I'm going to be out of town working for the big V day. We decided to have our date night Saturday night. Figured nothing too extravagant. Went to Olive Garden, then figured we would hit the casino for a bit. Wife loves playing 3 card poker, and I dabble on the roulette table. Get to the casino, check our members card and we both have some free play money for the slots. I hate slots. But I figured I'd give them back their $25 free money. So we set down at a pair of $1 machines and hit max bet.($10). Second spin I hit $600. Play it down to $500 and cashed out. Lost $200 at roulette and got up. She is content at 3 card, so I start wandering around . I found a $25 blackjack table with the little extra bonus bet on the side. Sat down and within an hour hit $900 on one hand. By the end of the night, I had $1400 in my pocket, wife had $800 in hers. All in all, great valentine's date!!! Now I can complete my .300 blackout build.

Thats awesome. Hard to beat the feeling of a good night at the casino. Ive been 4 times and only made out well once, maybe up $200 lol
