I'm going to be out of town working for the big V day. We decided to have our date night Saturday night. Figured nothing too extravagant. Went to Olive Garden, then figured we would hit the casino for a bit. Wife loves playing 3 card poker, and I dabble on the roulette table. Get to the casino, check our members card and we both have some free play money for the slots. I hate slots. But I figured I'd give them back their $25 free money. So we set down at a pair of $1 machines and hit max bet.($10). Second spin I hit $600. Play it down to $500 and cashed out. Lost $200 at roulette and got up. She is content at 3 card, so I start wandering around . I found a $25 blackjack table with the little extra bonus bet on the side. Sat down and within an hour hit $900 on one hand. By the end of the night, I had $1400 in my pocket, wife had $800 in hers. All in all, great valentine's date!!! Now I can complete my .300 blackout build.
we need like a super heart reaction or something, I had already heart reacted when I read olive garden lol that story just got better and better
i have never gambled at a casino and at this point in my life i dont think i ever will lol
I didn't have any interest in it when my wife (gf at the time) wanted to go, but whatever. Sat down next to her at penny slots, decided I was alright with spending $20 to kill some time.
Won $600, immediately stopped, cashed out. Ordered a turkey sandwich via room service, split the rest with her, and used my portion of the winnings to get a clutch kit for my mk4.
Went back not terribly long ago with the bois for a bachelor party. Thought maybe the same thing would happen again, instead I lost $240 because I thought just a little more blackjack. Can't say I'm going to continue to gamble, as I'm still technically lifetime in the black (just barely). But I see how it's easy to lose track/let things get out of hand quickly. Fun time, but karting was definitely superior.
