I didn't have any interest in it when my wife (gf at the time) wanted to go, but whatever. Sat down next to her at penny slots, decided I was alright with spending $20 to kill some time.

Won $600, immediately stopped, cashed out. Ordered a turkey sandwich via room service, split the rest with her, and used my portion of the winnings to get a clutch kit for my mk4.

Went back not terribly long ago with the bois for a bachelor party. Thought maybe the same thing would happen again, instead I lost $240 because I thought just a little more blackjack. Can't say I'm going to continue to gamble, as I'm still technically lifetime in the black (just barely). But I see how it's easy to lose track/let things get out of hand quickly. Fun time, but karting was definitely superior.

I don't take any cards of any kind in. Only take x amount in cash. When I'm broke, I'm done. Took in 250 each, but never even touched it. Normal night, that is about 2 hours tops before I'm broke and done. I go in expecting to loose it all, if I break even or win, the joy is that much better.

There are far fewer smiling/laughing people in casinos than there are in the commercials. I don't bet more than a beverage with friends but if you can afford to drop the money and would rather do that over show, karting, fancy dinner....freedom of choice.

This is my go-to for horse races. Only cash.

Unfortunately no comp booze at horse races so food+drink goes on the card, but betting is pure cash. Don't bet every race.

From the people I've spoken to, free drinks only get served if you're betting big, at least triple digits.
Only been to a casino once.

My local casino doesn't comp drinks, but will take chips as payment. The more I win, the more I drink. I purchased a round for the table twice after the 900 win. Was a good time indeed.

we got dumped on and there were motherfuckers in the grass in the center of the highway, people doing like 20mph on the interstate. Meanwhile I got to work without issues 💪

Yeah there's more snow here atm than I expected ... so much for it only starting at 5 or 6AM. Looked like the DOT also expected less snow at the morning commute.

This is definitely the last winter I can do on these 💪😤 all season tires 😤💪
