FPV in AUS...

So Jealous...for those of you down under...do you see these things on the road often, or have any experience driving them, looking on ebay AU and they didnt look cheap @ all...around 100k for a cobra fpv...

why wouldnt ford do any of this here in the states...big boss motors, turbos, fun trucks...i mean they started here so why have all the cool stuff over in AUS?

That one in the Vid is a FPV GTP, not 100k, but about $70k AUD which is about $60K USD. I had a similar car being the XR8 which basically has a smaller rear wing and a little less power. They do sound great and move along pretty well with the 350-400hp 5.4 Ltr V8.

I personally think the slightly cheaper FPV Typhoon is a better car with the turbocharged 4 ltr straight 6. http://youtube.com/watch?v=6y5as-gXGeY

Oh and to answer your question, yeah, you see them heaps on the roads here, hence the terrible depreciation. If you go for a 10 minute drive, you are bound to see atleast 1 or 2.
