HotSpot Issues

Any one had issues with their hotspot not activating? Had the car 2 days then the wifi hotspot stopped working so this stopped wireless carplay 2, tried factory resets and dealer wasnt able to fix it either after 2 weeks.
If I try and turn it on if goes straight off.
I have the cubic data plan,

can you still connect to the car using myvw app ?

Yes I can, internet radio works too etc, just the wifi hotspot wont activate
