Koni Coilover Setup

Hi All,

I'm going to be installing my koni coilover kit tomorrow. I've seen some videos on youtube, so I have a good sense of how the install will go. I have two questions though:

1. Which side of the spring goes up? (they are progressive, so one side has more spaced coil and the other is closer together) And which spring goes on the front and rear? I'm guessing that the shorter spring (just slightly shorter) goes on the fronts.
2. How do I adjust the damping? There's a little instruction manual, but the pictures are awful and I can't understand it.
   1. Edit, I just watched a video and apparently you just twist the top thing.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll be reading up on some more forum info to see if I can answer these myself, but as some of you may know, the search function on this site sucks.
