Los Angeles County Metro bus/rail+other carriers: $11/mo for EZPass-normally $70

IMO, this is a hot deal for anyone who uses one of the below carriers on a daily basis. Normally, the EZ Pass as purchased through Metro is $70/month. Now, basically, what you do is you buy a 10-trip Metrolink pass from Montclair to Claremont for $33($16.50 for Senior or Disabled), which is good for 90 days. Now, a benefit of Metrolink passes is that they also double up as EZ Pass. This means that during the 90 days that your Metrolink 10-trip pass is valid, it can be used on many bus/rail carriers in the Los Angeles county (carrier details below). Metrolink tickets can be purchased from any Metrolink station, or certain other locations.

Please note that from what I can tell, the one difference between an EZ Pass purchased from Metrolink and from Metro is that the one from Metrolink is not accepted on the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus.

I know that Metro may charge a zone fee, and LADOT Commuter express only gives a discount when using a Metro or Metrolink EZ Pass. Please check with your local carrier to see what restrictions apply.

p.s. You can search through other stations, to see if there's anything you prefer, but this seems to be the cheapest from my quick search. Others in a similar price range:

Burbank - Burbank Airport $33.50
Orange - Anaheim $33.50
Rialto - Fontana $34.00
