MK8 day/night mode android auto

Hi Guys,

I have a mk8 but the day/night mode dont work. Always stay on day mode even when its dark outside. I recheck all setting in developer mode from AA. when i switch by hand then it switch.

Did you check android auto settings when your phone is connected to car?
There are nightmode setting...

It seems to be tied to the Bright / Dark setting in the car itself, rather than headlight usage as I've seen on previous cars.

Car navigation works perfect, only aa dont want tocswitch between dark/day mode

Had my car nearly a year now. No matter the combo or sequence of car/phone settings can't get AA to change automatically from night to day.
Only way to change is manual by pulling down the Golf's quick menu screen and selecting Dark or Light.
Tend to always leave it on night.
When I use it Golf's built in satnav works fine for its auto day/night transition.

Yes same here, so its a entertainment system problem
