I currently have a 2016 Golf R running factory 18" wheels with Conti summer tires and 225/45R17 Blizzaks on 17" VW OEM wheels for winter. I am in the market for a Golf R MK8 and I believe the stock wheel on a MK8 R are 19"? Is it possible to run my 17" Blizzaks on a MK8?
There are 17's that fit the Mk8 R brakes though, my Apex VS-5RS fit directly and the Apex SM10 will fit with a 3mm spacer. Of course both of those are 17x9, so not really ideal for winters.
