New Amature Photographer

I just bought a Nikon D50 here are some of my first pictures, let me know what you think, some are from water, cars, and remote controlled Helicopter.(btw that is my Girlfriend)

I'm a beginner. I like them. What were your settings for each picture?

most are at 200iso, using a 55mm-200mm lens under "p" as said im a beginner so im not sure exactly what i was using, the water and heli shots were with the fastest shutter under M mode as said i have a Nikon D50

do you use firefox? If so.. install this.

It is an .exif viewer. Any picture that still retains the Exif information can be viewed by simply right clicking and going to View Link Exif Data.

Some picture hosts strip the data but you will be surprised all the information you can find that is stored in a picture.


Anywho.. just a general comment. Your helicopter pictures would have benefited from using your flash. Try using your flash more during the day as filler light.
