So by your logic all the peasants standing on principal are even more noble. Now we are getting somewhere.
Stupid would be the better word.

Has nothing to do with politics. Texas customers gave the right to the electric grid operators to control their smart thermostat when they signed up for an energy saving program. It was probably in the fine print that no one reads. We've been telling you conservatives are fascists, but you refuse to listen.
Texas will pay the price for their choice of government.

Except there isn't any government involved other than the fact that Texas deregulated the power grid which is causing the problems. It's the lack of government oversight that has created the mess.Exactly, then they neglected the power grid to increase profits, creating the need to control people's thermostats. Sounds like fascist government to me. It's very much a political issue.

Most people are opposed to government regulating business and in Texas proves government regulation can be a good thing. So it's isn't political, other than the fact Texas politicians deregulated a utility, so they could get campaign donations and investors could get higher profits, and now are harming the public with their cost cutting and now controlling their thermostats directly for profit?
Hey, Jim, that's fascism dude.
you may be smarter in politics than I am but willing to wager this isn't fascism. So it's isn't political, other than the fact Texas politicians deregulated a utility, so they could get campaign donations and investors could get higher profits, and now are harming the public with their cost cutting and now controlling their thermostats directly for profit?

And you would win that bet because Texas doesn't have anything close to a fascist government.you may be smarter in politics than I am but willing to wager this isn't fascism.
I only have very slight sympathy for folks that signed up for lower rates in exchange for the occasional loss of Tstat control.

It's political if they deregulate the electric companies and it's political if they don't. But it sure the fuck isn't fascism.Sounds pretty political.
