When will Harmon Kardon option return ?

I was wondering if anyone has or knows any insider information on whether the Harmon Kardon speaker option will return to the MK8 ? Will this happen anytime soon, or is it safe to say this option will not return till the MK 8.5 or 9 ?

I think the HK option consisted of more than just uprated speakers - I believe it also included a 12 channel amp and a subwoofer, so semiconductors would’ve been key components in the manufacturing process. Assuming the semiconductor supply issue is the main - if not only - reason the option was removed, then I’d guess the option will become available again when HK’s semiconductor supplies get back to something approaching normal levels and they can restart building and supplying products to their automotive customers (VW and others who offer a HK system) again.

When that will be is anyone’s guess.………..
