Edmunds.com Misleading

Just to clarify, Edmunds.com was mistaken in there information about the $1000.00 dollar manufacture to dealer rebate for the MkV model. It was for the MkIV (this has been confirmed by VW customer service). Also the link below takes you to Edmunds.com picture gallery for the MkV, there's a pic of a 2.0 FSI with a carbon fiber cover. Do any MkV's come stock with this? or did they just plug in a pic of a tuner's car. So far Edmunds is looking a little sketchy to me.

hmm.. it's the first time I've seen the CF cover; I think it's aftermarket. If not, I'll be pretty upset. Looks good though

I call aftermarket.... I have never seen that offered as stock.

you can find a lot of the CF at www.osirdesign.com. So check it out that part that you are looking for i think is on that site.

I'm pretty sure it's Aftermarket, but Edmunds is lame for putting it on there site. There supposed to be a resource site for stock cars.

It looks like they added that pic at the end because it was the only one they could find of the engine bay :iono:

That's what the engine bay looked like when the GTI was showed as a concept but they changed it to what it now looks like for production
