I found online some real headlightcovers from Mattig for the mk5 Golf and I'm thinking about putting them onto my future GTI's headlights. They look like this:

i like the kamei eyelid kit personally but those are fresh too.

and if you should go with these covers to the bodyshop they might even make it look like the headlights came that way from the factory. That would look really nice to me.

Only regret I have is that the pics of the showed car with the headlightcovers ain't a GTI but just a regular Golf

Every Golf including the GTI has the same headlight, no matters of them being halogen or xenon, only thing that's different on the GTI is the bumper and of course the grill. Would just like to see the effect of those covers on the headlights against the black GTI grill.

I've never been a fan of headlight covers. IMO the headlights like just fine the way they are. The most I would do are the Kamei eyebrows and that's it. But whatever floats your boat.

only big difference is the blinker in the Golf lights is under the front light instead of above it by the mercedes SL

I agree with Bouston...the lights look sweet they way they are and I too wouldn't do more than the eyelids. I don't think these look bad tho.
